I stitched today!
I'm not sure if I need to rip out and re-stitch the center medallion or not. My new silk floss has some different shading in it, so there is no violet-pink in the center. I just can't tell whether or not it's going to look okay. What do you think?
On an entirely different topic, you know how they say you learn some-thing new every day? Well, today I learned that not
only does my digital camera have a timer, but I also know how to use it now! So I took some pics of me.
I wanted to get Kasey in the picture with me, but she kept laying down in my lap. Guess that's what I get for having a Mommy's Girl! Believe it or not, but I've had her for 4 years, 11 months, and 27 days (it'll be 5 years on Monday since I brought her home from the shelter) and I don't have a single picture of me with her. It's mainly my own fault because I'm always taking the pictures, but I'm hoping to rectify that now that I know how to use my camera's timer. The trick is to keep her up and happy so she doesn't lay down or roll on her back for belly rubs!

  1. Personally I think it is fine. The real tell tale sign will be when it is too late to do anything about. That is when it is either 3/4's or totally finished.

  2. The pictures of you look great! You can keep practicing on getting shows with Kasey. You know, come to think of it, my camera has a timer too. I guess it's time to break out the instruction manual (IF I can find it that is!) and see about getting all my rugrats in one place. It's hard to take a picture of them all and have to grab one from running away. LOL I get pictues of the ceiling, half a chair or half a kid!

  3. Reading your post made me realize that I don't have a picture of Ana and me alone either LOL. Guess I'll try now too. I don't really see anything wrong with your stitching so maybe don't rip it out???
