I got home yesterday evening but didn't get any stitching done. Instead, I was chatting online wth the girls from my private group and we had a very nice time. I had emails to read and reply to, so of course that took some time as well. I've yet to recover from having Anna last weekend and have been going to sleep by 2am (GASP!) every night since Sunday.

Here is the fabric and the stitchable mug I bought when Mom and I went to JoAnn's on Monday night. I was looking for things, not necessarily for projects that I am or have done but to add to my stash. I concentrated on Patriotic, Dog, and Purple fabbies.
When I got home yesterday, I found my package of Needle Necessities floss from Shirley of Country Cottage Framing & Needleart waiting for me. Shirley had NN floss on sale and I asked her to create a grab-bag of 15 colors. This is what she sent: Shirley included color numbers 137, 174, 1251, 1481, 120, 101, 1611, 178, 164, 176, 165, 194, 138, 163, and 1343, plus these four cute freebies from Imaginating, Inc. Thank you, Shirley!!
Have I kept you waiting long enough? Are you ready to see the progress on Mount Coot-tha? Well, here you go! AT LAST, I finished the bow and ribbon motifs around the chain inner border! Now all I have to do are the flowers and leaves on the four corners and the border around the whole shebang! The end is in sight, folks!
