Updates

I received a call at 3pm Thursday that my surgery will be Saturday morning at 9:20. They finally received my new artificial graft-no CryoVein this time! This is the one they're going to put in my right upper arm, next to the old one. I won't be able to extend my arm for a day or so, so I won't be writing any long posts or emails. In fact, you'll be lucky if you see a Facebook or Twitter update, but I will try!

I decided to write a letter to the school newspaper's editor saying they left their readers hanging by not putting a caption under Kasey's ID card. One of the co-editors wrote back and apologized. Apparently the Campus Current staff was told the card was a gag, and that is why they used it for the article. They will be running a correction in the next issue, which comes out in two weeks.
