March 11, 2008

Even though I was up last night until 5:00a.m., I was wide awake before 10:30 this morning. Taking the hint to get up and get going, I decided to run some errands and go to the post office. I looked for a kitchen stool at Home Depot, but they didn't have what I wanted, so I went to Bed, Bath, & Beyond to get an adjustable one that was on sale in their flier. I stopped at the grocery store to pick up milk and a few other things and then went to the post office to send off a couple trades and some RAK's. The Goodwill thrift store is on the same side street as the post office, so I had to pop in there to check for any crafty items. I left with three picture frames that only costed me $6.00. They will definitely be of use for future stitching projects!

I didn't do any stitching today after completing my errands. By 5:00p.m. my eyes were closing of their on volition, so I took a nap. I was awakened at 9:30p.m. by a Kasey Kay. She was dancing on the hardwood floor demanding her dinner.

Of course, I was wide awake after that long nap, so I started matching fabric from my stash with charts that I already have. I had everything spread all over the dining room table. I made a list of all the fabric I have and another list of the charts I want to kit up. The second list detailed the type of fabric the chart calls for, the thread count, and the size the fabric needs to be cut to. It made it alot easier to figure out what I had and what I need.

The good thing was that I was able to kit up a bunch of charts with fabric. I'm going to Newport News, Virginia, the first weekend in April to visit Sue V from SIQ & ESC. I'm driving down with Sue's best friend, Laura and the three of us are going to the LNS in Williamsburg. I'm trying to save money by only buying supplies for charts already in my stash, but I don't want to buy more than I need (yes, I KNOW some of you just had an apoplexy). I think I'm approaching S.A.B.L.E., which is something I really didn't want to get to!
