Here's the thing...I don't want to stitch. Well, I want to stitch, but I don't want to stitch the projects I have to stitch. The Challenge. It's boxing me in and making it a "have to" chore instead of a "want to" hobby.
I stitch for fun and it's not fun when you have to do something while you want to do something else!
I was sitting on my new kitchen stool (which is still in the livingroom) in front of my new Sterlite plastic cabinets while I was talking to Debi and said, "There isn't one thing in these that I feel like stitching, D." That's when I came to the realization that as long as The Challenge was hanging over my head, I was going to continue to feel this way. There's no way I'm going to get 100 finishes this year if I don't feel like stitching!
So it's gone!
Out the window!
See ya!
No more Challenge.
No more lists, period!
