February 2, 2009

Well, she did it again, folks! Outing #3 was just as successful as Kasey's other SDiT outings. Some of the ladies even remarked that she doesn't take her eyes off me, EVER. She does at home, but when we're out in public she makes sure that I can't get away from her. Next, we're going to try a more busy place, like the grocery store or some place similar. I am also going to take her to the library and Muddy Paw Wash for a day of hanging out in the lounge.

Kathy Y and I sat next to one another at the EGA meeting this morning. We chatted about all kinds of stuff, stitching and non-stitching alike. I completed the word "Stitching" on my WIP but had to frog half of the A in "Album" because it was one thread too high. I'm telling you, if it hadn't been for the fact that I was in public, I'd have found out if QSnaps fly!! What is with me and this page?!

I went home around 1pm so that I could take a nap before going to dialysis. I went to bed early last night, but I got really into my book and couldn't put it down. I think I finally turned off the light at 4:30. When the alarm went off at 8:45am, I was NOT ready to get up. I was looking forward to the EGA meeting, though.

Kasey and I arrived at the house after 2pm. I set my alarm for 2:45 but never fell asleep. It was just too bright with the sunlight coming through the windows. Instead, I slept through my dialysis treatment. I felt much more rested when I woke up, that's for sure!

Again, I didn't do any stitching while I was home this evening. I don't think I'm headed for another slump, but I had 163 messages in my inbox and wanted to get through them. I think I read the last one at 12:01am. Oh well!
