Checking In

I'll have another long post of pictures for you to scroll through probably by Sunday night. Today was a day of preparation for my retreat and I didn't get much computer time. It was absolutely gorgeous outside today so I spent most of the late morning and early afternoon out on the front porch, stitching in my lounger while the breeze blew in off the creek.

Some of my retreat preparation included finish-finishing three projects! Hold onto your hats, because my book, A Stitcher's Companion is finally a finished book! All the details will be in my next post, so stay tuned! As for the other two projects I finished, you'll have to wait; they're gifts and the recipients read my blog. I'm not spoiling the surprise, no matter how excited I am to share the pictures. The one finish was definitely a learn-as-you-go and "lets try..." Because it's been over a year since my first attempt a this type of finish. You won't have long to wait for the pics...they're getting hand-delivered on Friday. My apartment has WiFi, so I'll have on-scene updates from Ocean City.
