Well, today is the first day this year that I didn't do any stitching at all. I had to go get a chest x-ray this morning, buy birthday cards at Hallmark, and stop by the post office to mail a trade. When that was done, I came home to wade through the 600 e-mails that were in my inbox.
Ian had to come down here from PA for another workshop at the courthouse Downtown. I had to pick him up at Pep Boys because his truck tags are expired and he had to get it inspected. We ended up going to Chick-fil-A for dinner (late lunch for me) and then I dropped him off for his workshop. I came back home and continued to read my e-mails.
I had to pick Ian up at the courthouse at 8pm and then drop him off at Pep Boys to get his truck. When I got back to the house, it was time to get something to eat and I talked to a friend of mine on the phone for about an hour. I was going to go to bed early, but I just couldn't stand the thought of waking to 500 emails again, so I stayed up to read every one. At 3am, I read the last one, shut off the laptop, and went to bed. So that's why there was no stitching today. It's just amazing how fast a day can get away from you!
WARNING:
One of the moderators of a group I belong to posted a warning about a certain person that has taken advantage of the Groups' goodwill. This person agreed to buy over $60 worth of stash from me. I held this stash for over a month and never got paid. Fortunately for me, I didn't fall for her sob story and just send it to her, because I have since been contacted by another person that she owes money to. I've seen posts from 2 other people that she owes money to, one that she borrowed charts from, and another that she promised to send charts to.
DO NOT trade with June Adams unless you receive your part first, or she actually sends you money! Also, she didn't JUST join the groups this past fall!! I heard from one person that sent her stash last January (and is owed money). Apparently, June joined previously, screwed people over, then resigned from the groups to let it all die down. Then she re-joined this fall, obviously thinking that people would have forgotten that she owes them money and screwed them over. So don't fall for the story that she's new, either! This seems to be a cycle with her, getting whatever she can out of whoever she can. We need to let her know that her free ride and taking advantage of people has come to an END!
I'm sorry to have to post this, but I don't want anyone to think twice about sending a Random Act of Kindness to a deserving person because of this dishonest one.

Thanks for this information Beth! Unfortunately, there ARE people out there who cannot be trusted. I feel like you do; I love my groups and all of my cyber friends. I cannot imagine being without a computer to communicate. I had been informed that she is on 'Tricky Traders' several times. This is so sad, and I hope no one else gets caught up with this particular person.
