January 20, 2008

Well, by 3am I'd gotten through all the e-mails that stacked up in my inbox. By Friday there were more than 1, 000 messages. I know alot of you think I should just delete them, but I'd feel like I was missing something. I love reading all the messages, even if they're only a couple words. Besides, what else am I going to do while I'm stuck here? Let's be realistic! If I didn't have this, I'd be sitting here staring at the ceiling!

I had a suprise visitor today! I want to thank Carol Boyer for stopping by and visiting. She brought me Sunflowers by Janlynn, which will go into my 2009 stitching stash.
We talked for a little bit, chatting about her group, Heirloom Stitchers, and discussing my condition. Unfortunately I probably won't be able to get the the HS meeting on Tuesday, but one of these days I'll get to go to one of their meetings!

Carol, thank you for brightening my day! I really appreciate the company and the kit. I'm sorry I wasn't up to a longer visit. I would have loved for you to stay with your stitching for a bit.

Uncle Wes stopped by later with some goodies that arrived in the mail! I got one of my orders from 123Stitch. It included fabric for two of my LHN charts and a Hob Nobb chart. There was also some over-dyed floss.

I wanted to get some stitching done, but I had too many e-mails to get through.
