Crossed Purposes™

I started CP with the intention of using daily pictures to show non-needleworkers the amount of time and work it takes to complete a piece of needlework. I wanted to educate people so that they realize you cannot just "crank out" quality needlework quickly or en masse, and to hopefully give them an appreciation of the art I love. CP has grown into so much more. Welcome to my world of Needlework and life in general. Grab a 'cuppa' and sit back to enjoy the antics of Kasey Kay and Emily.

Quick Update

I wanted to let you know that my surgery was a success. I'm still in pain and the Lortab I was given to control it leaves me groggy and fuzzy-headed. I will have a slew of pictures to share when I'm able to post again, but for now am just reading books and watching television/movies. I have only done about 20 minutes of stitching since Wednesday night but hope to do be able to do more soon.

Thank you all for the prayers, well-wishes, and healing thoughts. I appreciate them more than I can say.

Just glad to see you post quick...was beginning to worry that you had more complications...

Take your time, enjoy your book (and a movie or two) and let us know occasionally how you are doing so we don't panic as to where you are and what's up...

I am so glad that the surgery went well! I do hope that the pain gets less and less for you! I hate to take pain pills because of the groggy feeling they leave, but it is worth it when you are in pain! I am still praying for you and will continue to do so!
